Depthline is a space for anonymous, honest conversation between adults. It is not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use it.

Depthline runs on honesty and basic human respect. You agree not to post or send:

Be messy, be human, be real — but never use Depthline to target, shame, exploit, or endanger another person.

We may remove content, hold it for review, hide it, or block access at any time — including through automated tools — if it crosses the lines above or threatens the safety of the community. Reports are reviewed and acted on.

Because Depthline has no accounts, blocking is best-effort, but we take reasonable steps to keep the space safe.

Depthline is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that messages will be delivered, answered, stored, or kept private from the people you choose to talk to. Messages in the ether expire, and conversations can be ended at any time.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Depthline and its operators are not liable for what other users say or do, or for any loss arising from your use of the app. You use it at your own discretion and risk.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give Depthline permission to store and display your messages as needed to run the service — for example, showing a thrown message in the ether, or delivering it to the person who responds.

We may update these terms as Depthline grows. Continued use means you accept the current version.
